The CleanConscience CareKit™ Project is the perfect activity for community-focussed team building exercises.
It’s also a great class team, group or club activity that not only helps provide life-saving toiletries to those in dire need, but it also helps us raise much needed funds to build on the work we already do.

The project began when a company providing cabin services to the hospitality sector had a client that decided to rebrand and a large volume of first class comfort kits and hand towels became redundant. These were donated to CleanConscience and the CareKit™ project was born.
As part of a volunteer group, you will work in teams to sort these kits and add extra items to turn them into emergency hygiene packs. These are then bulk packed and ready to be shipped to your chosen charity recipient or homeless shelter or you can choose to nominate a humanitarian organisations that ship emergency packs to areas in the world that are in desperate need; areas where natural and economic disaster threatens the lives of vulnerable children and adults.
Each kit is also sponsored by your company to help us to fund this important work, so you choose how many to target your teams with building. As each item has to be hand picked and packed it’s a great way to discover the motivators, planners and leaders within your teams and at the same time make a much needed contribution to the work we do, both financially and physically.

Assembling the CareKit™ toiletry bags is appropriate for children as well as adults. Volunteers must be at least 8 years old. Children ages 8 through 15 require supervision by a parent or guardian.
A donation of £3 for each CareKit™ sponsored is suggested and if you order 100 or more then delivery is included within a 30 mile radius of Maidenhead.
WHEN: We are flexible as to when you can volunteer with us – make contact and suggest a date and we’ll check the calendar and let you know. We can offer a couple of hours, half a day or full day activities.
WHERE: Either at our recycling operating unit just outside Maidenhead (J8/9 off the M4) or we can bring the activity to you.
We can accommodate groups of up to 20 at any one time.
